The posts I feature the least on my blog seem to be reviews of products and I seem to have a lot more haul and monthly favourites posts! I started work at 7am this morning for the mid-season sale so thought I would spend this afternoon watching TV and writing out this review for you :)
Ever since the Clinque Chubby Sticks became popular on the blogosphere, more and more drugstore brands including Rimmel, No7, Revlon and Bourjois seem to have been releasing their own dupes to rival Clinque as well as each other.
The Bourjois Color Boost Lip Crayons are really the only drugstore version that has really caught my eye. Originally there were 4 shades and within weeks they released some more into stores.
They have more pigment than I was expecting but Bourjois is a brand that always seems to impress me! They are really moisturising on the lips and fade gradually to leave a slight tint throughout the day before it disappears completely but I definitely will last you a few hours, a bit less when eating and drinking.
The packaging makes them look a lot more expensive than they are and I would say have the best packaging compared to the other drugstore lip crayons. The lipstick itself winds up meaning you won't need to carry around a sharpener with you for when you need to touch up.
There are 6 shades available meaning it is easy to find the perfect shade for you; a pink/peach, fuschia pink, orange, 2 reds and a dark plum. They aren't so sheer that you will need to continue to apply until you can see even a hint of colour on your lips like some tinted lip balms. The texture is very smooth and hydrating without feeling sticky like a lipgloss but I do have to disagree with the 10 hour claim!

I have three shades from the collection; Fuschia Libre which is a hot/dark pink with some purple in it and I can tell it is going to be one of my favourite shades for Spring! Peach On The Beach which as you would think is a really nice peach shade with a hint of pink and is definitely the colour I reach for the most out of all my lipsticks on a daily basis. Finally, Orange Punch is as you would guess an orange shade but isn't as bright on the lips as most orange lipsticks you can find. I feel as though this can mix with the natural colour of your lips as sometimes it looks either more red or pink but it can also look as it does in the tube!

Have you tried any drugstore dupes for the Clinique Chubby Sticks?
What did you think about them and which was your favourite?
