Friday Favourites - Moisturisers

Hello guys!

So, its Fridaaaaay! So today I'm going to start 'Friday Favourites' and these will be every week on Friday. Please leave a comment below for what you would like to see them on:)

Today's favourites are going to be about moisturisers:)
I have two that I am going to talk about so here we go:)

The first is;

This is the Boots Vitamin E Moisture Lotion SPF 15. I use this as a base for my make-up. This can be used as a make-up base, after cleansing or to protect your face from the sun whilst keeping it moisturised. This is a really good product and I really recommend it!

The other moisturiser is;

This is the Simple Spotless Skin Anti-Blemish Moisturiser. This doesn't have any SPF. I use this after cleansing in the evening and I have really seen a difference! I haven't tried this as a make-up base but I've heard that it works well.
This is also a very good product and I recommend this too.

Both of these products can be used day or night and both I have repurchased. They are both very good budget products that work.

That's it for my first friday favourites post. Please leave a comment below if there are any questions, any extra information you would like to see next friday or what you would like the next friday favourites to be based on:)

Thanks for reading, sorry it was short!

Rimmel Glam'Eyes Liquid Liner [Review and Swatches]

Hello guys!

So this is going to be review for the Rimmel Glam'Eyes Professional Liquid Liner - 001 Black Glamour.

I really don't know why I haven't posted this review any earlier because this truly is amazing but here we go...

Why did I purchase this eyeliner?
I purchased this after my friend Shannon recommended it to me while I was using the Collection 2000 Liquid Liner. I like this brush of this eyeliner as it is really thin so you can get the line that you want as with the Collection 2000 eyeliner it doesn't glide along as it is a spongy applicator instead of a brush.
A very thin brush!
How pigmented is this eyeliner?
With just one layer of this eyeliner it is really really pigmented! Unless you want a thicker line, you really don't need to go over this with another layer as it is a very pigmented product. I would probably describe this as a jet black pigment. I not sure what else I can say about the pigment of this eyeliner as it is really good!

Claims
I couldn't find any claims of this product on the Rimmel website so I have taken one from Boots.
"Rimmel Glam'Eyes Liquid Eye Liner is the ultra precision liquid eye liner, its professional brush delivers the finest line to give you exceptional results."
I honestly and truly agree with this and I don't know why this has negative reviews on the Boots website because this is really good!:)

Shade selection
I think this comes in three or four shades. I have only tried the black and I don't think I will try the other shades as I prefer black eyeliners.

What did I like?
This eyeliner doesn't smudge or crease. It is a perfectly sized brush for application and the pigment is really good. The ease of application is really easy and the brush again makes it easier to get the look exactly as you would like it. I have had this eyeliner for a very long time and I use it almost every single day and I have only had to buy another today:)
This is only the second liquid eyeliner I have tried and this really is a keeper!

Ease of application
It is really easy to apply this! You should apply this before curling your lashes and applying your mascara. My lashes are quite curled without mascara or curling then so it makes it a little harder but it is still really easy. If you make a mistake, just grab a make-up wipe and correct the mistake:) The handle is a great length so it is really easy to control the brush.

Swatches
Here is one quick swatch of this eyeliner.
This is just one quick swipe and one layer of this product:)

Rimmel eyeliner on my eye:)^

Packaging - 10/10 - This has a really thin packaging so it is great for travelling and the handle is a great length.
Product - 10/10 - I very rarely give products a ten out of ten but this really deserves it!
Price - 10/10 - For the length of time that this lasts for, £5.29 is a really amazing price!
Would I recommend this? - Yes!!
Would I repurchase this? - Yes and I already have haha:)

*Disclaimer* - I purchased this product both times with my own money. I am not affiliated with the company and all opinions are my own. I have not been paid to do this review.

Thanks for reading and leave a comment below and follow if you would like:)

Small Superdrug/Boots Haul:)

Hello guys!

Almost a week ago I recieved an email from Superdrug telling me that I could get an extra 200 points if I spend a minimum of £10 of all Rimmel products. I have almost run out of eyeliner and I needed some nail polish for my prom on Saturday:)

I also purchased one product from Boots:)
My products:)
This is what I purchased from Boots;

This is the Boots Simply Sensitive Anti-Redness Serum 30ml. I have some redness on my nose and my cheeks and I thought I would try this after reading the reviews online. This contains aloe vera so I'm hoping this will work!
This retails for £4.99, I paid £3.32 as they currently have a third off all their Simply Sensitive products.

These are the four products that I purchased from Superdrug;

This is the Rimmel Glam'Eyes Professional Liquid Liner 3.5ml. This is a re-purchase of my favourite liquid eyeliner. I have just finished my first bottle of this which lasted my a very long time after using it almost everyday.
This retails for £5.29 which is really good!

I purchased two nail polishes. These are the Rimmel I <3 Lasting Finish Nail Polish. On the left is 239 Your Majesty which is a metallic sliver with a little bit of shimmer. On the right is 500 Disco Ball which is a clear base with silver, blue and purple glitter pieces. I am going to use these with my navy blue polish from e.l.f.
I will post an image of the look I create with these either tomorrow or early Saturday:)
These retail for £2.99, I purchased these for £2.49 as Superdrug currently have 50p off:)
This is the Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick. I really love this packaging! I purchased this in the shade 03 which is a really nice nude shade with a pinkish-coral tint to it:) I haven't tried this on my lips yet but when swatched on my hand it feels really moisturising!

I am really excited to try this out and I am hoping to find a lipgloss to use over the top!
This retails for £5.49, I purchased this for £3.99 as they currently have £1.50 off of Rimmel Kate Lipsticks:)

I purchased all of the Rimmel products for £14.26 with a saving of £2.50:) I also recieved 214 points which is an extra 200:D check your email if you have a Superdrug beauty card as the extra 200 points ends of the 3rd July!

So that's my small haul post for today:) I really like the look of the Essence Stay With Me Lipgloss - My Favourite Milkshake. However, I cannot purchase this in the UK. So far I have advised to try the e.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipstick - Baby Lips. Below there is an image of the shade, please comment if you know of any other lipgloss that is similar to this:)
Thank you for reading and for all the help you can give me:)

Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer [Review and Swatches]

Hello guys!

So yesterday I posted a review of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation and today I am going to review the Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer :)
Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer
Like the foundation I purchased this in the shade 51 Light Radiance and I managed to purchase this half price from Boots from their BOGO Half Price offer:)

Why did I purchase this concealer?
So again, like the foundation I purchased this after seeing it in Sineady Cady's youtube videos and the reviews that I had seen online. I also purchased this because of the deal and because it was what I had wanted to try for a long time:)

Coverage and appearance claims
I have to admit that this concealer actually surprised me quite a lot!
It really works well to cover up blemishes and although it isn't a highlighting concealer, you can use it to cover dark circles:) This looks really natural and is hardly noticeable (it only will if you really cake it up.)
It also claims that it makes your skin radiant and like the foundation it mentions fruit therapy. It says that the apricot provides radiance and the raspberry is a micro-circulation activator.
As you can see inn the picture below, Bourjois claims that this has a moisturising formula and that it is oil free. I agree with both of these claims but it can be a tiny bit oily if it is a very hot day:)
Claims:)
How long does it last for?
I can't find a claim anywhere about how long this will last. I think it lasts the same as the foundation or maybe a little less if your skin is oily.
Overall this lasts roughly 12 hours which is pretty amazing!
If you are going to want to touch up your concealer throughout the day I would advise you to blot your face first and then touch up the concealer:) If you have combination/oily skin it would be best for you to set this after with a powder.

Shade selection
I have only seen this in four shades so you might have more trouble finding the correct shade than you will the foundation. However, they do have the same numbers as the foundation so for example if you are 51 in the foundation then you will be shade 51 in the concealer.
Looking at the foundation and the concealer in the packaging, the concealer looks a tiny be lighter but it might depend on the lighting that you are looking at them in:)

What did I like?
I really love everything about this concealer! It looks so natural, great way of dispensing the product, great coverage and lasts such a long time:) Also the fact that I managed to get this half price is a thumbs up!
Easy to dispense and control the amount of product:)
Application and ease of blending
I mentioned in my review of the foundation that I mix a little bit of the concealer with the foundation and then stipple it on:) I then apply more of the concealer to where I need it:)
I think the ease of blending this is really good! It glides onto the face and aswell as the foundation really does blend like a dream!

Swatches

On the left is a small swatch and there is some blended on the right but it didn't show up on the picture.

Packaging - 10/10 - More concealers need to have this packaging!
Product - 9.5/10 - Not perfect but still amazing1
Price - 9.5/10 - This is a little pricey between £7 and £8 so I think if you want to try this, try and catch it while it's on an offer.
Would I recommend this? - Yes!! You really need to try this!
Would I repurchase this? - Yes! I really like this concealer and it is probably one of the best I have tried:)

*Disclaimer* - I purchased this concealer with my own money and I am not affiliated with either Boots or Bourjois Cosmetics. I have not been paid to do this review and all opinions are my own.

Leave a comment below if you have any more questions regarding this concealer:) Keep following!

Help me please!:)

Hi Guys!

So I actually have about 11+ reviews lined up for you but this post is asking you for some advice:)

I probably have THE worst under-eye circles, I always get enough sleep, I'm not stressed, I'm healthy but I really can't find anything to completely hide them or make them disappear:/

I currently use the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer under my eyes and it is good but they still show through.... I have tried the Maybelline Dream LumiTouch Highlighting Concealer as it is actually best to use a concealer that is also highlighting under your eyes but I can't find a good one:/

I have my eye on the Sleek Luminaire Highlighting Concealer but if anyone has tried this concealer I would very grateful if you either leave a comment below or visit my CONTACT PAGE to let me know to find other ways of finding me to let me know whether or not you would recommend this to me:)

Please also leave a comment below or again visit my CONTACT PAGE to advise me of any other concealers that I could try:)

I also would also like to try the Fade Out Anti Shadow Brightening Cream and again please contact me if you have experiences with this:)

Thank you very much to everyone who can help me:)

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation [Review and Swatches]

Hi guys!

If you've been reading my most recent posts then you probably read in one of them that I am really back into the blogging mood! After this I have another two reviews lined up which I will most likely write tomorrow:)

Today's post is a review for the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation. I also have the concealer and that will most likely be the next post I write:) I think this review will be quite long, I really love this foundation so I have a lot to tell you about:)
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
I purchased this foundation in the shade 51 Light Vanilla and I managed to get this while it was on a 'Buy One Get One Half Price' offer in Boots so I bought this and the concealer:)

Why did I purchase this foundation?
I decided to purchase this after seeing the countless number of positive reviews and also because it was compared to products from higher brands! Aside from these, I purchased this because I saw Sineady Cady use it a lot of times in her youtube videos:)

Coverage and appearance claims
I really like this foundation! It offers medium coverage and really makes the skin look flawless:) It claims to last for 16 hours and offer a glowing complexion. It offers a lovely looking complexion and it says that the fruit therapy is radiance-boosting and will over time make your skin to look more radiant.
Claims on the front of the bottle as well as information for what
each fruit does:)
How long does it last for?
It claims to offer 'Up to 16h Perfectly glowing complexion & toned skin.' I haven't tried this foundation for 16 hours but I personally think that the length that this foundation lasts for depends on both your skin type and also the weather:)
If you have combination/oily skin it won't last as long on a sunny and hot day than it will on a cooler day but it is still very long-lasting!
If you have very oily skin and it is a hot day, you may have have to blot the oil and re-powder your face.

Is there anything I don't like?
Sadly, there is one thing that I am not 100% pleased with and that is the pump! It does come with a pump so that is a thumbs up but it doesn't really work everytime I use it... I usually get 2 little drops from 2 pumps and then the full pump comes out. This might be because I store it horizontally in my make-up box so it might be best kept vertically:)
Pump - Shiny black with a purple tint:)
 Shade selection
I haven't seen many shades of this foundation so if you have either have a really pale or a darker skintone then you may not be able to find the correct shade for yourself.

What did I like?
I really like this foundation. I think having a plastic packaging is a lot better than having a glass packaging. Also I like the function of the pump as it is different to a standard pump. Instead of having a tube to reach the bottom of the bottle which usually leaves a lot of product left in the bottle, this foundation has a function where the foundation gets pushed up from the bottom so no product is wasted and also so that you can see how much product is left:)

The coverage and after-appearance is lovely, the length of how long it lasts is also amazing and just everything about it is really good:) Today I applied it at roughly 8am and I removed it at 10.30pm, there was only the slightest sign of where it had disappeared! Thats 14 and a half hours which is amazing, especially as it was very hot and sunny!
Pump mechanism at the bottom:)

Application method and ease of blending
I tend to prefer to mix a tiny bit of the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer with the foundation using my finger, what I have left on my finger I apply to the areas where I would like the most coverage (this is usually, my nose and cheeks and sometimes my chin.) The ease of blending this is really easy and basically in one word; amazing!

Swatches [No full pump image sorry]
Left - Small swatch Right - Small swatch blended
 Packaging - 9.5/10 - Great to have a plastic bottle. Pump function is good but not the full pump's worth of product comes out.
Product - 9.8/10 - So close to 10/10! I think this is amazing and probably the best foundation I have used:)
Price - 10/10 - £9.99 is a really reasonable price for this! Because of the quality I'm surprised this isn't more expensive!
Would I recommend this? - Yes! Without even thinking about it:)
Would I repurchase this? - Definitely!:)

Overall I think this is a really amazing foundation and I think after using more than my fair share of foundations that this is currently my holy grail foundation:) If you haven't tried this yet, where have you been?! I really think that if you are looking for a new foundation or just want to try out something new then buy this:)

Leave a comment below if you have anymore questions regarding this foundation, I hope this has helped you make your mind up about whether or not to purchase it:)

*Disclaimer* - I purchased this foundation with my own money and I am not affiliated with the company. All opinions are my own and I have not been paid to do this post.

What I Got For My Birthday:D

Hi guys!:)

This will be a small post today but I might post a reviw later on:)
So as the title suggests^^^ this is going to be a post about what I got for my birthday last week on Tuesday:)

On my birthday I met up with my friend Shannon but I got my present from her and my other best friend on the Saturday just gone which was my party:)

I didn't get a massive amount of presents for my birthday as I mainly was given money because I sent my birthday list out to my family too late but I'm still happy:)

This definitely ISN'T a post where I am bragging and I am very thankful to everyone for what I got for my birthday:) If you think that you are just going to think something negative or you don't like seeing people write about what they got for their birthday, please don't continue reading this!:)

First from my Aunt and Uncle (mum's brother and wife) I was given money:)
I got given £16 as it was my 16th birthday:)

Next from my mum's other brother I was also given money:)
He gave me £15 which aswell as the £16 I was very appreciative for:)
From my Nan and Grandad:) (My mum's parents)
They gave me £35 :O I was very surprised as it was incredibly generous! I couldn't thank them enough for this!:)
My friend Bridie (who I have known for about 15years now :o ) gave me;
Morgan Toiletries Set:)
What was inside the bag:)
The set included the bag and three 100ml bottles which are the following;

 They are all 'freshsweetpea' bottles and they all smell very nice:) However I haven't tested any of these yet:)
The first bottle was some Body Lotion:)

The second bottle was some Shower Gel:)

The last bottle was some Body Scrub:)

Next, one of my best friends, Shannon, gave me £15 because she wasn't sure what to get me and this way I could get what I wanted:)

From my other best friend Gemma, I got;

 Ahh Giant Buttons NOM! I have actually almost finished these hehe:)

She also gave me;
Ted Baker Gift Set:)
 This included some of the Ted Baker Origami products which were; - Body SoufflĂ© 50ml
- Bath Foam 50ml
- Body Spray 50ml (I already have one of these and I really like it)
- Body Wash 50ml
I was really happy with these too:)

From my Mum and my Stepdad I got;
Remington Curlers:)
This is the Remington Pearl Hair Curling Wand Ci95.
I asked for these as I had my hair curled for my Year 11 Celebration Evening and I really liked it:) These were the curlers that were used:)

Silvery-copper case:)
 It also comes with a heat-protective glove to prevent your hand from getting burnt. The curlers are black with white flowers and white writing for the brand name. They have a little stand attached so you can stand them up:)
They also gave me;
 This is the Laura Ashley Multi-Drawer Unit which I featured in my last post. This is to keep all of my make-up. I may purchase another of these as it was only £16.99:)
Lastly they gave me £40 aswell:)

From my Dad I got given £20:)
From my Sister and her boyfriend I got;
This is a book by Carrie Jones and it is called 'Endure'. This is the fourth book from her current series. I really like this series and I am currently reading the third. I really recommend these books! I don't often read books but this is definitely a must-read series.
They also gave me a £10 gift card for the shops written on the front:) I think I will use this in either Topshop or Miss Selfridge:)

Lastly, I got £20 from cards I recieved in the post:)

Again, this is definitely not a post where I am bragging! I know that I recieved a lot of money for my birthday this year as I only recieved a few presents:)

I hope you liked this post and leave a comment if you would like:)
Again, I know I have been saying this a lot recently but please check out my Beauty Question and Answer post, I have had a lot of views on the post but I only have two questions. I really need some more before I can write the answers post:)
Thanks again!
